Privacy policy
This describes the website as it actually works today, including the water-test request form.
What the request form collects
The water-test form asks for a name, email address, phone number, and ZIP code. It is validated on our server and then passed to the system the business uses to handle enquiries. If that delivery is not configured or fails, the form says so on screen and gives you a phone number instead — it will not tell you a request was received when nothing received it.
The hardness control
The hardness slider and its presets run entirely in your browser. Nothing you move or type there is sent to a server, stored, or associated with you.
Automatic website data
As with most hosted websites, the hosting provider may process technical request data — IP address, browser details, pages requested, timestamps — to serve the site, keep it secure, and diagnose faults. The application code includes no advertising pixel and no connected analytics service. If either is added, this policy must be updated first.
Cookies and local storage
This website's own code sets no marketing or analytics cookie and writes nothing to local storage. Hosting and security infrastructure may use technically necessary mechanisms.
Sharing and retention
Request details go to the business handling the enquiry and are not sold or passed to advertisers. A specific retention period has not been verified and is therefore not claimed here.
Outbound links
Links to USGS, EPA, municipal reports and other sites lead to services with their own privacy practices, which Hvíta does not control.
Questions and requests
A verified legal business identity and a monitored contact address have not been published yet. Both must be added here before this can be treated as a working channel for privacy requests.
